Hybris
The artist explores the intersection of classical/folk musicianship and improvisation. The project examines how musicians trained extensively in specific genres tend to reuse particular patterns during improvisation. Described as “classical improvisation,” the work documents experimental performances through video recordings available in an accompanying playlist.
