U-CARE
U-CARE (Urban Culture Against Racism in Europe) was a European project funded by the European Commission’s Fundamental Rights and Citizenship programme (2012–2014). It combined peer coaching in anti-discrimination and anti-racism work with urban culture and media arts practice. Coordinated by jfc Medienzentrum (Cologne), it partnered with 11 organisations across 8 European countries.
In July 2013, J3ZZ participated as a facilitator in the international Florence seminar, hosted by Associazione Fabbrica Europa and COSPE at Caffè Letterario Le Murate (6–9 May 2013, 24 participants). The session brought together young adult artists across media, dance, and music disciplines, exploring creative languages as anti-discrimination tools.
J3ZZ shared his experience as a performer and musician, supporting participants in the conception and production of their own artistic projects — guiding the group through creative process development, stage production, and performance direction.
